Travel assistance may be available to qualified media whose trip will provide coverage of the Northwest Territories as a tourism destination. NWT Tourism can help with itinerary planning, transportation arrangements, accommodations, and more.
In order to qualify for assistance from NWT Tourism, members of the media must fulfill the following requirements:
- All media need to be on a letter of assignment or have a track record for producing;
- All media must possess their own travel and health insurance. Note: extra insurance may be required for travelling outside of major centres in the Northwest Territories. Please consult with your insurance provider;
- NWT Tourism's Press Trip Request Form below must be thoroughly completed prior to assistance being offered;
- Make mention of NWT Tourism, #SpectacularNWT, or www.spectacularnwt.com as applicable.
